Mielizia BIO shortbreads biscuits are made with few selected organic ingredients, including Italian honey from CONAPI beekeepers and Italian sugar. They are made without syrups, without animal fats and palm oil, and without added eggs and milk, ideal for a nutritious and tasty breakfast or snack.
Italian organic honey of our beekeeper members is a natural and “noble” sweetener.
These biscuits are a source of fibers. Buckwheat flour is obtained by grinding the fruit of a flower plant. Buckwheat does not belong to grasses plant family – as the majority of cereals – however is similar under alimentary and nutritional aspects.
The MIELIZIA BIO line stems from the extensive experience our beekeeping members have in organic beekeeping techniques. The hives are located far from sources of pollution, and the bees are raised with full respect for their natural rhythms and cared for using natural methods to protect them from disease. Our honeys and other gifts from the bees are the stars of every product in the line.
Ingredients
Soft wheat flour* 45%, sunflower seed oil*, flour buckwheat* 14%, sugar*, red fruits* 11% (cranberries*, cane sugar*, sunflower oil*), honey* 4%, oat flakes flour*, leavening agents (carbonates of ammonium, sodium carbonates), salt. Natural extract of olive.
