Mielizia BIO shortbread biscuits are made with a few selected organic ingredients, including Italian honey from our beekeepers, Italian wheat flour and oat flakes, Italian "STG Hay Milk'' and Italian sugar.
They are without syrups, without palm oil and without butter and eggs. "STG Hay Milk" is a milk that comes from organic farms that adopt the European Union's STG specification, that feed their animals a natural diet based on forage and pasture and without the use of fermented foods and GMOs. It differs from traditional milk in its fresh and genuine taste.
Oat flour, an ancient cereal, is processed into flakes, once harvested, to enhance the flavour and all organoleptic characteristics.
The MIELIZIA BIO line stems from the extensive experience our beekeeping members have in organic beekeeping techniques. The hives are located far from sources of pollution, and the bees are raised with full respect for their natural rhythms and cared for using natural methods to protect them from disease. Our honeys and other gifts from the bees are the stars of every product in the line.
