Manuka Honey of New Zealand (100+ MGO) - Jar 250g
Manuka honey comes from unpolluted areas of New Zealand and is obtained by bees feeding on the flowers of the Manuka's tree, an indigenous plant of the Myrtaceae family.
Its peculiarity and uniqueness compared to other honeys is the presence of Methylglyoxal (MGO), which occurs naturally in the nectar of the Manuka flower and thus in the honey itself. This natural component is an indicator of quality. It is a creamy, amber-coloured honey with a strong aromatic scent and a unique taste reminiscent of spices.
Mielizia honeys are not pasteurized: they are produced at a temperature never higher than 40° C, the temperature of the hive, to maintain intact flavour and nutrients.
