Linden honey is crystallized, with bright color and yellow reflections from amber to golden. It has a fragrant and intense smell of mint and sage. It is sweet and persistent on the tongue with a hint of fresh walnut and a slightly bitter finish. It is harvested in the Spring and Summer period all over the Italian peninsula.
MIELIZIA BIO - Together for Biodiversity line has been created by Conapi beekeepers’ long experience on organic beekeeping. Our beekeepers manage beehives following organic standards and in respect of local biodiversity. These beehives are located far away from pollution, and bees are raised in total respect of their biorhythms, healed with natural systems to defend them from disease.
Mielizia honeys are not pasteurized: they are produced at a temperature never higher than 40° C, the temperature of the hive, to maintain intact flavour and nutrients.
